A Personal Health Budget is a sum of money allocated to support an individual’s health and well-being needs. Unlike traditional healthcare services, PHBs offer individuals greater flexibility and choice in how they manage their care. These budgets are planned and agreed upon collaboratively between the individual (or their representative) and the local Clinical Commissioning Group (ICB).
